Nuwara Eliya | Belihuloya Tour - ITINERARY
Day 1 - Nuwara Eliya | Gathering in our meet up spot we begin our journey in our bikes towards the last kingdom of Sri Lanka city known for it historical value and sacred tooth relic temple. We will have our breakfast along our route to Kandy. After a quick visit of Kandy we will ascend trough the misty mountains where we will be welcomed with glorious mist and hair pin roads. Making our way through tea plantations, waterfalls and breath taking views to Nuwara Eliya. (Optional: on the way from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya we could take off-road routes through tea plantations and tea factories.) Upon reaching Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England, after taking care of our belongings we will head to Gregory Lake where we will engage in water sports such as Jet skiing, speed boating and paddle boats. To end Day 1 we will spend our night having Indian themed dinner accompanied by the cold nights of Nuwara Eliya. |
Day 2 - Belihuloya | After having an early breakfast and getting our spirits up, we will make preparations to make our way to one of the UNESCO declared world certified heritage site known as Horton Plains. (optional: we could do the worlds end walk where we can witness the mini world’s end, Bakers falls with a breath taking view of the mountain sceneries.) Making our way trough one of Sri Lanka’s most engaging off-road routes we will come across a major waterfall in Sri Lanka to have our lunch under the refreshing water sights before we reach our last destination for the night which is Belihuloya. Upon reaching Belihuloya and making necessary arrangements for the night, preferably we could take a dip in the Belihuloya River whilst enjoying our dinner alongside accompanied by the moonlight shining on the rocks. |
Day 3 - Starting Point | After a refreshing tea/coffee and breakfast in the morning and yet again having a dip in the glorious morning waters of Belihuloya we begin our journey back to where we began trough another off-road route round the Adam’s Peak to Kithulgala where you can also enjoy some typical white water rafting before we head back to our initial gathering point. |
