Three Days at Kandy - ITINERARY

Day 1 - Sigiriya	The beginning of this unforgettable adventure lies on a rally point where all the adventurers and the guides get together. Then we will begin our journey towards the first destination passing through some main civilized cities in Sri Lanka. Our first scenery will be Athagala Rock which inherits one of our great ancient values as well as our culture. The second scenery we will explore is the Dambulla Cave Temple which dates back to the first century BCE. Then we will proceed to Sigiriya where which we have prepared necessary accommodations. Afterwards taking care of our baggage, we will make our way with an adventurous hike to Pidurangala Rock. After which reaching the summit we enjoy a glorious sunset and make our way down to our accommodations for the night, where we will be accompanied with entertainment all night long.
Day 2 - Kandy	After refreshing ourselves with an early morning breakfast we begin our journey to Sri Lanka’s hill country, Kandy. Known for its sacred Tooth Relic Temple where they securely store the tooth relic of Lord Buddha which houses it under a pure golden casket. Back in the day it was believed as whoever held the tooth had the right to claim himself as King of Sri Lanka. Therefor this tooth is of great value to the heritage of this country and its history. After reaching Kandy we will have our lunch and then rest in our hotel. Furthermore, in the evening we will witness the cultural Kandy dances and explore the Sacred Tooth Relic temple in the glorious moonlight shadows. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 3 - Negombo	Afterwards we also have the option of visiting a Sri Lankan Herbal and Spice garden to get a knowledge on how people produced Herbal medicine in ancient times. Moreover we will head towards the Royal Botanical gardens where we will come across so many species of plants and flowers. Finally we will also visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage on our way back where we will witness hundreds of elephants in close proximity. Then we will head back to Negombo reminiscing about the day we had and the unforgettable memories shared.
